Get started in three steps
- Install Crujd from the Chrome Web Store.
- Create a Gemini API key in Google AI Studio and paste it into Crujd Options. The key stays on your device.
- Open a job posting, launch the side panel, and click Crush this JD.
Your own Gemini API key
Crujd does not run a paid AI backend. You bring a Google Gemini API key — a personal credential from Google that lets the extension call Gemini when you run an analysis. Crujd only sends your job description and résumé text to Google at that moment, using your key.
Google’s pricing and free tiers change over time. For normal job-search use, costs are typically very low, but check Google AI Studio for current terms. Crujd itself is free to install.
Built for how you actually job-hunt
Use it on the career sites and boards you already use — no copying long JDs into another tab. Open the panel, run an analysis against one or more saved profiles, and get structured output you can act on.
What you get back
- Match scores for each résumé you include, so you can see which version fits the role best.
- A scorecard that separates what employers mark as required, what’s optional or “nice to have,” named skills.
- Gap analysis — what’s missing, clearly labeled, so you know what to emphasize or upskill.
How the analysis thinks
Requirements aren’t all equal. Crujd treats must-haves, preferred items, and explicit skills as different lenses, then combines them into an overall match score.
